Tamara Newell is a writer, holistic health coach, Pilates instructor, and former dancer. As a health writer, Tamara has written for WebMD, AARP, Pilates Style Magazine, Center for Disease and Control, and Huffington Post. Before writing, Tamara was a Pilates instructor in New York City's elite health clubs and worked as a fitness model and dancer. She holds a dual BA in Dance and Communications from Marymount Manhattan College and classical ballet training from Joffery Ballet and Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet.In 2002, Tamara gave her life to Jesus and experienced His transformational love and power to set her free from an eating disorder, diet pill addiction, body shame, and emotional eating.
