Throughout this collection, contributors use the theoretical framework of the Bildungsroman to analyze youth development, identity-in-flux, decolonial logic, as well as negotiation of maturity and belonging in contemporary narratives at the margins of literature (sequential art, comics, videogames, experimental novels, etc.).
