Autorenporträt
Shawn-a-lee McCutcheon-Bell lives and writes in Cumbria, England. Mum to five children, she is married to local poet Stephen Bell. Born January 7, 1966 in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, she first began writing at a young age. Schooling herself in the fine art of horror by staying up late to watch Chiller Thriller Theatre and pinching King books from her mum. Eventually, she went off to college and studied creative communications. That was put aside for a period of years when she fronted a rock n' roll band, but inevitably, she returned to her love of all things creepy. She is the author of "Darkness Springs" and has contributed to numerous anthologies and magazines. She has been included in Ellen Datlow's 2009 Honourable Mention List and was in the 2009 Preditors & Editors Top 5 Best Short Story List.
