The Raptor's Dawn is a high-octane temporal thriller that subverts the traditional time-travel trope. Instead of sending agents back with futuristic gadgets to observe history, the Temporal Watch sends agents who become history. The protagonist, Jaxen Rift, must biologically transform into a dinosaur to survive the Cretaceous era and stop an entropy-eating entity called the "Chronophage." The story explores themes of identity, the feral nature of instinct versus human logic, and the cost of survival.
