Co-founder of Movile, the holding company behind businesses like iFood, Sympla, Afterverse (PK XD), and Zoop, he also participated in the creation of companies such as Wavy and PlayKids, and led the strategic merger of Wavy with Sinch. In 2023, he founded Empower Business School, a corporate culture consultancy that offers courses and mentorship programs for executives. Half of the revenue generated by Empower is allocated to the Karimu Foundation, created to fi ght poverty and transform rural communities around the world. Edu has been a guest lecturer at Harvard and Stanford, where he presented the Movile success case, and today he dedicates his time to share the lessons of his journey to help other leaders drive their businesses with more purpose, management, and impact.
