This book tells the story of the author's life. His patience and endurance while facing autoimmune diseases, one of which is incredibly rare (1:100,000).

His initial pessimistic outlook of the disease progression resulted in their relapse. So, in December 2015 all the negativity accumulated into a depressing state that consumed him. He stopped dreaming, stopped living. He was on the verge of dying.

One of many of his disease manifestations was dysphagia resulting in him constantly losing weight and along it any care about anything in life. He couldn't allow himself to follow the dreams of his children, believing it to be futile. He was hiding in his room, crying in secret.

In order to help him, his daughter gifted him a self-help book that changed his life. Meanwhile, after countless medical tests and several painful choking episodes later, the final diagnosis (Esophageal Achalasia) was set. In simple words, esophageal achalasia means that the patient is essentially living with a dead, immobile esophagus, resulting in severe difficulty in swallowing food and an intense feeling of heartburn after each meal.

The countdown to his personal resurrection had begun. After receiving a medical operation, concerning his esophagus, to better his quality of life, he set out to gain knowledge so he could help other people facing similar conditions.
He had shifted his mindset; he began viewing the challenges of life through a new, more positive lens. Within a year he had read more than 20 self-improvement books, which aided him in altering his old, dysfunctional beliefs. He had taken computer courses so that he could further his knowledge on his subject of interest by studying online. Nothing was going to stop him from achieving his dream of helping people.

After that, he enrolled at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with the goal of becoming a life coach. He took more online Courses and Seminars, focusing on the functions of the human mind.

His diseases had proved to be a blessing. It was the trigger for him to take 100% responsibility for his life, create his own reality, and change the course of his life step by step. He began a beautiful journey of self-improvement and self-awareness, focusing on his constant spiritual development and achieving a lifestyle he could be proud of living.
The book lists techniques, methods, and tools that he had used, alongside proper stress, time management, and positive thinking.

Discover ways he helped himself find new meaning in his life. He managed to study for a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Coaching, Mentoring, and Leadership, and today he is a volunteer Life Coach, NLP Practitioner, EFT/TFT Master Practitioner, and Hypnotherapist.

I currently reside in Avgorou, a village in the free Famagusta Province. I'm married to an adorable wife and I have two wonderful daughters. I've been a military officer since 1994. Studying (Life Coaching) at the EKPA University of Athens, was for me a turning point, making me realize that I had to reassess the priorities of my life. After facing major health issues, the knowledge I received proved to be the best medicine I could have asked for. I feel the need to share what helped me get through the toughest moments of my life with as many people as possible to aid them through their struggles. Finding a purpose and meaning in life is what I strive for and though it has been a difficult journey, every day I discover a new reason to smile. Armed with a deep love for humanity and a burning desire to better things, my goal through this book is to convey that each of us is capable of change, one step at a time. I only hope that some of my words will reach you and make you realize that you are worthy to enjoy the wonderful gift of life. My favorite phrase is: "Live your dream, not the dreams of others." BIOΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ ΜΑΡΙΟΣ ΜΙΧΑΗΛ (MBA) Master Business Administration (Coaching, Mentoring, Leadership) Γεννήθηκα το 1970 στο κατεχόμενο από τους Τούρκους χωριό, Κυρά της κατεχόμενης Επαρχίαs Μόρφου στην Κύπρο και διαμένω στην ελεύθερη Επαρχία Αμμοχώστου στο Χωριό Αυγόρου. Είμαι παντρεμένος με μια αξιολάτρευτη σύζυγο και έχω αποκτήσει δύο υπέροχες κόρες. Είμαι στρατιωτικός απο το 1994. H παρακολούθηση του Επαγγελματικού Κύκλου Σπουδών (Life Coaching) στο ΕΚΠΑ αποτέλεσε για μένα το σταθμό για την μεγάλη ανατροπή στην Ζωή μου, αφού μετά και από τις μεγάλες περιπέτειες με την υγεία μου, αποδείχτηκε το καλύτερο Φάρμακο που θα μπορούσα να έχω ως συμπαραστάτη και σύμμαχο για το υπόλοιπο της ζωής μου.
