About the Author

Shankar Kashyap is a British-Indian author, poet, and physician whose work spans historical fiction, poetry, and psychological thrillers. He is best known for his acclaimed Harappa seriesHarappa 1, Fall of Shuruppak, and Dasharajnawhich masterfully weaves Vedic history and archaeological insight into gripping narratives of ancient civilizations.

Shankar is also the author of the powerful courtroom drama A Kangaroo Court, and several celebrated poetry collections under his pen name Kavi Shankar, including Musings of a Romantic, Lady in Red, Eternal Echoes: Rubaiyat of Kavi Shankar, Ghazals: A Collection of Ghazals in English, and Villanelle: Mastering the Art of Repetition.

When not writing, Shankar is an accomplished watercolorist and a passionate student of ancient Indian history. He lives in the UK, balancing his literary pursuits with a career in medicine.
