In the fog-drenched alleys of postwar London and the rain-slicked docks of Liverpool, a killer stalks women who shape reality with their hands seamstresses, typists, clerks. Dubbed "The Serpent" by a terrified press, he leaves behind a single, chilling signature, a coiled serpent with one unblinking eye.

Detective Silas Walker a brilliant but socially awkward ex-military intelligence officer with a mind for patterns and a heart scarred by war is pulled into the investigation when the third victim is found in his own city. As he follows a trail of smuggled silk, surgical bone saws, and coded journals, Silas uncovers a conspiracy rooted in wartime trauma, black-market trade, and religious delusion.

With the help of his loyal friend Harry Briggs and the sharp-witted barmaid Eleanor Hayes, Silas must race against time to stop a killer who doesn't just murder he sanctifies. But the deeper he digs, the more he realizes, the Serpent isn't working alone. And the true architect of this terror may be watching from the shadows, pulling strings with gloved hands.

Set against a backdrop of ration books, jazz records, and crumbling brick, The Serpent's Eye is a gripping historical thriller where every thread leads to truthand every truth could be fatal.

Autorenporträt
Tyronne was born in 1962 at Addington Hospital in Durban, South Africa. He spent his formative years, nine in total at The Salvation Army Boys Home, where he learned the enduring values of friendship and loyalty. Drawn early to the pulse of innovation in music, Tyronne became fascinated with the pioneering bands shaping modern sound, eventually picking up the bass and joining his first band in 1982.

His journey into writing began with song lyrics, compact narratives that sparked a deeper passion for storytelling. Inspired by literary giants like Wilbur Smith, Stephen King, and John Grisham, and captivated since childhood by the cunning mysteries of Columbo.

Tyronne turned his focus to crafting suspenseful, character-driven tales. Today, he writes with the rhythm of a musician and the precision of a seasoned storyteller, weaving intrigue, emotion, and authenticity into every page.
