Jerry Stevens is a Christian believer who has come to faith several times throughout his life. In a critical moment during a severe PTSD episode, he attempted to take his own life with a handgun. He should not have survived the self-inflicted injury; however, God had a different plan and intervened and miraculously saved him, leading him to surrender to his loving Savior. Although Jerry's background is not in theology-he holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and served as the vice president of an engineering firm prior to his retirement-he believes that God has a greater purpose for his life. Jerry recognizes that he is nothing without God. He felt called by God and answered that call by writing about Jesus' love, forgiveness, and the importance of re-evaluating one's relationship with Him.
