The New Testament begins with the Age of Moses (Law) and it will end with it. What we see today is the Age of the Gentiles which is only temporary. Jesus came to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom to the Jews for whom it was intended. "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matt. 10:5-7).
In Matthew 24, Jesus explains the end times to His Apostles. He was asked by His disciples, "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?" (Matt. 24:3). He included this warning, "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come" (Matt. 24:13-14). The book of Hebrews and these seven epistles were written for true and faithful Israel. They are to guide, warn, and encourage those who must "endure unto the end."
