Clay is definitely out of his comfort zone!

Author Biography

William Mesusan lived and traveled in central Mexico where he pursued his dream of becoming a published writer. He wrote seven cover stories for El Ojo del Lago, Mexico's most widely read English-language magazine, along with a dozen and a half e-zine articles.

Two trips to Spain, and research into the country's past, inspired a series of novels set in 10th Century Islamic Spain during a little known time in history when Muslims, Jews, and Christians created a harmonious society based on religious tolerance and enlightened self-interest. He's self-published two books in The Andalusisan Trilogy series: The Galician Woman and The Bone Relic. This final book, The Missing Vizier will be followed by a prequel (The Lost Manuscript).

He put Andalusian series on hold to focus his energies on researching and writing a dystopian novel, The Sperm King, after reading Shanna H. Swan's book COUNTDOWN: How Our Modern World Is Threatening Sperm Counts, Altering Male and Female Reproductive Development, and Imperiling the Future of the Human Race. The urgency of the novel's themes propelled the narrative.

His other interests include organic gardening as well as playing guitar and writing songs in a variety of styles (jazz, country, and an eclectic mix). His collaboration with Serbian vocalist Jovana can be heard free on Soundcloud.com using the playlist title Jovana's Mix.
