Born and raised in St. Anne's-on-Sea, she grew up in a house filled with music, secrets, and ghosts experiences that shaped her fierce honesty, her love of jazz, and her lifelong commitment to healing through art.

Sarah has spent decades transforming personal pain into poetry, plays, and powerful storytelling. Her autobiographical musical Blue Notes and her memoir The Story I'm Writing are testaments to resilience, inner child work, and the survival of voice.

She lives in the North West of England with her beloved German Shepherds, Rebel and Ruby, and is a proud mother and grandmother. Sarah writes for the girl she was, the woman she became, and the generations yet to come.
