Tammy Lempert has a B.S. degree in Life Science and has practiced meditation and mindfulness for many years. Her career as an author and illustrator began as she created stories to entertain her own three children. Tammy's enjoyable tales help teach values of kindness, friendship, and a mindfulness philosophy that helps children deal with life's difficulties. It was the challenges in her own life that provided the inspiration for her to write and illustrate Tales From Grandpa Joe.
