The Table Was Never Meant for Me is a raw and powerful testimony of what it feels like when God removes you from spaces that were never meant to hold you. It's a story of recognizing false invitations, walking away from toxic places, and finding your true seat in divine purpose.

With honesty and fire, Nunu Momma (Kanisa Elliott) speaks on betrayal, healing, and the courage to accept that God's "no" is often the protection you never knew you needed. This book will challenge you to see the setups for what they are, honor your worth, and sit only at the tables built for your destiny.

Autorenporträt
'm a storyteller, truth-teller, and believer that God's Word still works even in the hardest places. My mission is simple: take the power of scripture off the page and put it right where people live, work, and fight their battles every day.

Through the Faith in the Trenches series, I blend the grit of real life with the hope of the Gospel, showing that you don't have to be perfect to be chosen and you don't have to be in a pew to meet God. My writing is raw, unfiltered, and rooted in the belief that faith isn't fragile it's built to survive the storm.

I write for the ones who've been overlooked, underestimated, or written off. For the dreamers and the fighters. For the ones who know the trenches all too well. Because I've been there. And I've seen firsthand that the Spirit still moves in the hood, in the hurt, and in the healing.

When I'm not writing, I'm connecting with communities, encouraging others to tell their stories, and reminding people that God can take broken pieces and make masterpieces.
