Dr. Adrienne Simmons is a former classroom teacher who currently serves on the board of education for one of the largest school districts in the United States. For more than twenty years, she has worked to close achievement gaps and improve the public education experiences of learners, families, and communities. Dr. Simmons has held leadership roles within the Georgia Department of Education and now administers educational services both nationally and abroad. Adrienne lives with her husband and children in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
