As she descends into the dark cellar, there is more than a giant rat waiting for her. "Traitorous" Impressions is about an orphan who was adopted into a well-respected family but was never shown the love and respect she felt she deserved. When her best friend starts dating her college roommate, she realizes she has feelings for him. When the feeling is not reciprocated by her best friend Ben she began a campaign of revenge against the woman who stands between the two of them. "Duplicitous" is about a hardened 30-year police Detective Mark Hampton, who is six months from retirement and wants to solve one last murder of an escort madam, but the lead Prosecutor and his arrogance keep vital information from the Detective. He has to find the contemptible person and keep his winning record unblemished.

Tammie Middleton is a writer of fiction, fantasy, adventure, dark comedy, crime drama, psychological thriller, and Erotic Fiction. She specializes in education and brain stimulation that invokes complex emotional responses. She writes because it's a form of escapism that allows both authors and readers to take a forbidden journey without judgment. Tammie enjoys noir films from the '20s through the '50s. Her favorite actors are Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, and Vivien Leigh, to name a fewmovies of the 80s, anything Spielberg, Stephen King, Robert Zemeckis, and James Cameron. When time permits, Tammie enjoys dramatic arts, operas, and classical theater presentations. Tammie also enjoys collecting art and spending time with her daughter. She has a Bachelor of Creative Writing and a Masters in Media Journalism from Full Sail University. She moved to Columbia, South Carolina, in 2008 from her home of Augusta, Georgia, and still resides in Columbia, SC.
