Produktbeschreibung
Liverpool, 1952. The war is over, but its shadows cling to the cobbled streets like damp fog. Ration books still rule the kitchen table, jazz spills from cellar clubs in Toxteth, and the scars of the Blitz linger on shattered brick and broken lives. Into this uneasy peace steps Detective William Silas Walker,a man whose mind sharpens like a scalpel in the face of murder.

When Silas is handed the cold file of the 1949 Cameo Cinema killings, where manager Leonard Thomas and assistant John Catterall were executed during a robbery that yielded nothing,he feels the familiar itch of an unsolved puzzle. But before he can dive deeper, a new horror erupts: four bodies in a blood-soaked warehouse near the docks, the safe emptied, and whispers linking the crime to one of Liverpool's two warring crime families.

Haunted by his mother's death in the Blitz, driven by a relentless belief that "there are no coincidences," and armed with self-taught forensic methods that border on the prophetic, Silas must navigate a city of secrets, betrayal, and coded loyalties. With his constable friend Harry Coleman at his side, forensic pathologist Sarah Jones in the morgue, and his beloved Carol waiting at home on Walker Street, Silas descends into the heart of Toxteth, where every alley breathes danger, and the truth may cost him everything.

"Snitch" is a meticulously rendered, atmospheric detective novel set in postwar Liverpool, where justice is slow, violence is swift, and the line between cop and criminal blurs in the gaslight.

Autorenporträt
Tyronne was born in 1962 at Addington Hospital in Durban, South Africa. He spent his formative years, nine in total at The Salvation Army Boys Home, where he learned the enduring values of friendship and loyalty. Drawn early to the pulse of innovation in music, Tyronne became fascinated with the pioneering bands shaping modern sound, eventually picking up the bass and joining his first band in 1982.

His journey into writing began with song lyrics, compact narratives that sparked a deeper passion for storytelling. Inspired by literary giants like Wilbur Smith, Stephen King, and John Grisham, and captivated since childhood by the cunning mysteries of Columbo.

Tyronne turned his focus to crafting suspenseful, character-driven tales. Today, he writes with the rhythm of a musician and the precision of a seasoned storyteller, weaving intrigue, emotion, and authenticity into every page.
