Dana Patton was born in 1956 in Baku, Azerbaijan, USSR. She is the daughter of a heart surgeon/ professor father and a concert pianist mother. Dana earned her BA degree in Baku in 1980 and took WR 115 and 121 classes in the USA. She currently resides in Oregon.
