Professor Abdullayev, a kind and thoughtful man, asked this question on national television and paid an enormous price for his question and followup analysis. His criticism of the system cost him a big price. His family also paid.

Dana Patton was born in 1956 in Baku, Azerbaijan, USSR. She is the daughter of a heart surgeon/ professor father and a concert pianist mother. Dana earned her BA degree in Baku in 1980 and took WR 115 and 121 classes in the USA. She currently resides in Oregon.
