Autorenporträt
Themistius was an ancient Greek statesman, rhetorician, and philosopher. He was admitted to the senate in 355, and was prefect of Constantinople in 384CE. Of his many works, thirty-three orations remain, alongside commentaries on the works of Aristotle.
