George Karl is the former head coach of the Denver Nuggets and Seattle Supersonics, among other teams. He coached in the league for 27 years and retired sixth all-time in career wins. In 2022, Karl was inducted in the NBA Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Don Yaeger is a staff writer for Sports Illustrated and the co-author of several books, including the New York Times bestseller Under the Tarnished Dome.
