Born and raised in South Africa until the age of 17, Tammy S Petersen now resides in beautiful Far North Queensland, Australia. She has been a story teller since a young age but had never explored writing creatively until the birth of her first child in 2014.

After taking a Creative Writing course in 2015, she fell in love with the challenge and creativity associated with fictional writing.

Moribund came about after one of her crazier than normal dreams that then blossomed into the first book in the Evanee Shepard series. After taking a short break from writing in 2017 for the birth of her daughter, she soon sat back down to complete Moribund.
