Alejandro Villalva has served in the U.S. military, on active and reserve status, since 1991. Currently, he works as a forensic analyst and historian with the Department of Defense, specializing in the analysis of recovered artifacts as part of the process of identifying missing service members from World War I to the present. He lives near Dayton, Ohio.
