I am Kathy Priest-Smith and this is my third children's book in the Adventures Dogs series. I am married to Greg Smith and we live in San Angelo, Texas with our four dogs. We have four children and still have just six grandchildren, but hopeful for our family to grow. For a woman who grew up not being a dog person, our dogs have definitely changed both of our lives for the better. Our lives are full of adventures. There is never a dull moment. It seems like yesterday when Millie came into our lives. She needed us and we needed her. Cancer brought us all together because my mom had cancer, and two of Millie's first family owners were diagnosed with cancer. It was a God thing because God brough Millie and I together. God has definitely helped me through the process of writing each of these books. Millie, Annie, and now Storm have inspired me to write about them. I never knew dogs were so funny and "adventurous." I hope you will follow our dogs' adventures through our books and enjoy reading about each one. Storm came to us by accident and took our lives into a whole new direction, as you will see in our upcoming books. Storm has made our family more complete. We all are so blessed to have him our lives. His registered name is Mountain Thunderstorm, and he took us literally by storm!
