Autorenporträt
Carole spent years working as a hairdresser, attending training schools in London, and meeting people from all walks of life and every corner of the world. She listened to the stories of her clients some who seemed to have it all, and others who were struggling just to survive. Later in life, Carole married and became the mother of two children with a very rare condition. She had to fight tirelessly to obtain a diagnosis, a journey that took a heavy toll on her family s mental health. The frustrations of seeking help and feeling unheard only deepened the challenges they faced, as they struggled to have their cries for assistance acknowledged.
