Autorenporträt
Charles Bruce was a poet, novelist, and journalist who began his newspaper work as a reporter for the Halifax Chronicle. He later joined the Canadian Press. He is the author of The Channel Shore as well as numerous poetry collections, including Mulgrave Road which won the Governor General's Award for English-language Poetry or Drama in 1951.
