Phillip Manning is a 2010 graduate of Winston-Salem State University, where he began cultivating his passion for storytelling after reading The Epic of Gilgamesh. That ancient tale of gods, monsters, and friendship opened the door to a lifelong love of myth, fantasy, and the power of words.
