Autorenporträt

Shawayne Ashani Dunstan is an author, illustrator and artist living in Banff, Alberta. His writing journey begun in 2012 when he developed a love of poetry in middle school. His first publication is titled "Guity by Association" was released in October 2016. In February 2017, "The Undisputed Defeat of An Adolescent" was published. Dunstan received the young citizen of the year award and graduated high school as valedictorian in 2017. Shawayne published "Wallflower" in January 2018. His 4th collection Loose Change and Pineapple Waves was published in March 2018. The publisher has shut down, thus making this book unavailable. Dunstan's 5th collection titled; "Poor Man's Nectar" was released in May 2018. The 6th collection is titled "The Undisputed Defeat of an adolescent Remastered" released also in May 2018. The publisher has shut down, thus making this book unavailable. Book 7 is titled "Drunken Fireflies from Somber Lullabies" released in July 2020. As of August 2021, He is a graduate of Humber with a diploma in Restaurant and Hotel Operations Management. His 8th edition is titled "This Shared Moment with You" was released in August 2022 and was his first published in Banff. Shawayne went on to publish "Tumblebug" under his own name, brand and publishing house (Shaweezy Publications) in December 2023. October Blue is the 10th collection which was released in July 2024. Shawayne's next poetry collection will be Nova.
