Mauro Santos Alfonsín is a young immigrant who lives in New York and is sentenced and imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit. In prison, he takes up boxing to channel his anger and frustrations. After 10 years fighting tirelessly for his freedom, he's exonerated and released. He goes back to Argentina, his native country, to live and start a professional boxing career. Despite many losses, he fights for his dream of becoming a world champion. But the question is: Can he do it while he fights at an age when most boxers are retired? Will he make his dream come true in a sport where blows can be unforgivable when fighting at such an "old" age?
