Steve Adams is a former corporate banker and veteran entrepreneur. His passion lies in optimizing the performance of entrepreneurs, executives, organizational leaders, and athletes. Steve has expertise and extensive experience in building and scaling organizations through disciplined execution, direct-response marketing and culture that leads to extraordinary client experiences. Steve grew up in Lansing, Michigan as the son of an auto worker. He went on to university and became the first college graduate and MBA in his family. Steve's first career was in corporate banking where over a 15-year period brought in nearly $500mm in new business, rising ultimately to a Regional Bank President role in his mid-30's. After banking, Steve's first venture was a retail organization inside a new franchised pet superstore concept. Steve, his partners. and team innovated and developed many approaches which later were adapted nationally by the franchisor. Over two decades this organization ultimately grew to 44 units in 6 states with approximately 750 employees and revenues of approximately $100mm. At the time of Steve's sale, the company led the chain nationally in same-store sales comps, Net Promoter Scores, client overall satisfaction scores and employee engagement scores. Currently, Steve is CEO of a peak performance organization called Tiger Performance Institute serving individuals seeking peak-performance, addiction treatment centers, and major university athletics programs. Steve is also the author of the book Passionate Entrepreneur, published through Advantage Publishing. Steve is releasing his latest book, Unleashing the Peak Performer Within You in January 2021. In 2008 Steve founded International Business as Mission (www.ibam.org), an international non-profit providing entrepreneurial training and start-up funding in developing nations.
