Steven J. Zaloga has worked as an analyst in the aerospace industry for over two decades, covering missile systems and the international arms trade, and has served with the Institute for Defense Analyses, a federal think tank. He is the author of numerous books on military technology and military history.

Robert Calow is an illustrator. Robert's main interests are in architecture, transport and military subjects. He has produced many prestigious projects, including work for Windsor Castle and The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight for Corgi Classics. He has previously worked on NVG 54: Infantry Mortars of World War II.
