When a strange signal echoes from deep within an asteroid mining site, a reluctant investigator and a driven scientist are pulled into a mystery older than the Velos system itself. What they uncover is not just an anomaly-it's a message. And it was never meant for them.
Velos is the first novel in a science fiction series exploring ancient technology, deep-space anomalies, and the quiet determination of those who dare to investigate. As secrets awaken and signals intensify, one thing becomes clear: something is listening-and it may already be on its way.

Autorenporträt
Carl King lives in New York. A retired U.S. Air Force pilot, he flew both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters across diverse terrains and missions.

Velos is his first novel and the beginning of a science fiction series built around a richly imagined universe of deep space anomalies, ancient technology, and the quiet determination of those drawn to uncover the unknown.

Carl has developed the world of the Velos Systemits planets, histories, and secretscrafting a universe where every signal might be a message, a warning... or the beginning of something far greater.

When not writing, he enjoys astrophysics, travel, and imagining what might wait just beyond the reach of light.
