Her research lays at the intersection of media and politics, including (visual) political communication, digital political campaigning, media framing, protests and social movements, and photojournalism. She is Convenor of the Centre for Politics and Media Research at Bournemouth University. Daniel Jackson is Associate Professor of Media and Communication at Bournemouth University, UK. His research broadly explores the intersection of media and democracy, including news coverage of politics, the construction of news, political communication, and political talk in online environments. He is Convenor of the Journalism Research Group at Bournemouth University. Darren G. Lilleker is Associate Professor in Political Communication at Bournemouth University, UK. His expertise is in public engagement in politics, and he has published widely on the professionalisation and marketisation of political communication. He is editor of the Palgrave Macmillan series Political Communication and Campaigning.
