Produktbeschreibung
We the People of HASA: Surviving the System, Reclaiming Our Power is a groundbreaking exposé, memoir, and call to action from author and advocate Patrick A. Sands. Drawing from lived experience and the testimonies of countless others, this book pulls back the curtain on the deep dysfunction, systemic abuse, and bureaucratic neglect within New York City's HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA).

Told with raw honesty and unapologetic clarity, this book is not just about survival - it's about resistance. Through powerful storytelling, community testimonies, and a radical platform for justice, Sands gives voice to the voiceless and lays the foundation for what must change.

From SRO nightmares to denied services, from frontline protests to visionary policy, We the People of HASA is both a personal journey and a collective manifesto. For every person failed by the system, this book declares: you are not alone - and the revolution has already begun.
