Lucas is married to Sharron his wife of nearly 40 years, together they have raised four children and now have 8 grandchildren. As much as spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren, which he cherishes, his other joys are reading, songwriting, the outdoors and music. At times the author shares his thoughts in a fashion that is open-hearted and vulnerable. His communication style clearly defines for the reader, a passionate commitment to a lifestyle that is sensitive, compassionate, ethical and spiritual. In todays' day and age, a book like this is considered controversial. He argues that the current political and legislative trends, if they continue unchallenged and unchanged will birth greater destruction than the turbulence of the current conditions. We are in the crosshairs of despotism. The net result for our world many nations and all humanity will be, to rob the next generation of the freedoms and creativity they should rightfully inherit and enjoy.
