Dr. Richard B. Fratianne is currently a professor of emeritus surgery at CWRU. He received the Hoban Medal of Honor from the Diocese of Cleveland. Dr. Fratianne and his wife, Mary, were married for 67 years and have 5 children, 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
