Waters traces the distortion of God's character through paganism's amalgamation with true faith. He emphasizes God's law, which sustains and governs all things living, and God's sovereignty in the universe and His unwillingness to force anyone to comply with His will. Additionally, he lays out principles for interpreting prophecy and finds symbolism in the Old Testament sanctuary to help the reader understand God's plan to rescue all who are willing. When the Conflict Ends, What Then? shows readers the "X" on the map of human history as we head toward the resolution of the final conflict, which says, "YOU ARE HERE!"

A native of California, Carl H. Waters lives with his wife Aryonna in Carson, Washington, in a cozy little home on the Wind River, in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. He became a Seventh-day Adventist after a mountaintop conversion experience during his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Carl worked briefly at Hewlett Packard but found his niche in the power industry at Portland General Electric, where he retired after 42 years of service. He now devotes his full time to healthy living, teaching biblical prophecy, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
