Heather Meyer is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a BS in Psychology and MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and lives in Northern Colorado with her two daughters.
She began pulling her hair between ten and eleven years old and was professionally diagnosed with Trichotillomania when she was fourteen years old. Over the years, Heather has pursued modeling, acting and pageantry as a hobby and has been in a documentary on vacation destinations and a real estate commercial. Heather is currently a National Brand Ambassador for Hair Club. She competed in the Mrs. Colorado America Pageant for four years, holding the titles of Mrs. San Luis Valley 2011 and Mrs. Southwest Colorado 2012, 2013, 2014. During her years of competing at Mrs. Colorado America, she won awards for Titleholder of the Year (2011), Most Creative Ad Page (2013) and Directors Choice (2013). In March 2017, she won the title Ms. Woman Colorado United States 2017 and competed for the national title of Ms. Woman United States 2017, which is part of the Miss United States Pageant system. Heathers platform as a titleholder was Mental Health Awareness.
Heather has volunteered her time to advocate for Mental Health Awareness, Trichotillomania Awareness, Dating & Domestic Violence Awareness and Sexual Assault Awareness.
