James Nineus Stadig was born and raised in New England where he spent most of his childhood running around the woods and weaving stories. Growing up, he was surrounded by books and became compelled to craft his own. Nowadays, he can be found spending time in his garden or drinking a boiling hot cup of coffee. He finds inspiration for his stories in mythology, his Scandinavian heritage, and his queer community.
