Alas... the people of Verrania aren't ready to forget the stories they've heard about giant snake-eel creatures roaming the lands unseen, devouring lone travellers and solitary shepherds. Rumours abound, fears proliferate, old terrors and superstitions are resurrected, and soon the small company of six are rushing north... north, where Farrian is convinced the threat to all Verrania persists... north, to where someone has gone missing and no trace but blood has been found to mark the disappearance.

Little do Farrian and his friends know that this first call to arms and return to longed-for action is only one link in a new chain of deadly events which will lead them inexorably to Old Wierenland, home of ancient fearytales and the fabled Gwillin o' Wier...

Autorenporträt
GJ Kelly was born near the white cliffs of Dover, England, in 1960. He spent a significant part of his early life in various parts of the world, including the Far East, Middle East, the South Atlantic, and West Africa. Later life has seen him venture to the USA, New Zealand, Europe, and Ireland. He began writing while still at school, where he was president of the Debating Society and won the Robb Trophy for public speaking. He combined his writing with his technical skills as a professional Technical Author and later as an internal communications specialist. His first novel was "A Country Fly" and he is currently writing a new Fantasy title.
