After discovering Bigfoot, the Ozarks become a primeval habitat where Homo sapiens loses its apex predator status. Yet the friends maintain a sizable advantage in wits, and the holiday turns into a vicious (and often hilarious) clash of civilizations.

An allegory of tribalism, the story examines a modern world where humans are increasingly unable - or perhaps unwilling - to escape our natural ancestral roots.
