He fought like hell to keep me from exposing him. He failed.
This is the true story of what happens when one woman refuses to stay silent-despite every reason to. Wildfire is about how Karrah Youngblood stood up to one of the most documented predators in modern history-and to the systemic injustice that protected him at every turn.
She fought hard to tell this story, and in sharing it, hopes other survivors will find the strength to stand up, too.

Autorenporträt
Karrah Youngblood is a professional artist, single mom, and unexpected memoirist from Oklahoma who never planned to write a book-until standing up to the man who hurt her and so many others became a fight she couldn't walk away from. She's best known for her viral artwork, featured on TMZ, NPR's Morning Edition, Tulsa World, and Comic-Con. Youngblood's powerful story is the subject of the true crime podcast Panic Button: Season 2 - Operation Wildfire. This memoir is the creation she's most proud of-the story she stood up to a predator and the systems that protected him to finally tell. She didn't write it for clicks or clients. She wrote it to reclaim her voice-and to help others find theirs.
