Why two rookies? Because my I'm a wolf shifter of Fenrir's line through my mother. Which means my ancestors made a deal with the god to become what we are today. I have that in common with the murder victims.

Also, on a scary note? I have a crushing feeling Fenrir is calling me to cash in on my ancestor's deal.

So, does my father, the son of the Archangel Gabriel, who passes down his sword from the angelic wars for protection. Igni can light with angelfire, and she also likes to spout her righteous opinion in my head, ad nauseum.

As Jada and I work the case, we discover there is a cult behind the murders and they're not just any cult. They claim to be the group embodiment of Lif and Lifthrasir-the people who will live through Ragnarök. In case you haven't heard, that's when a giant snake devours our little third rock from the sun. The cult even has nifty leaders who want to be gods, and the sacrificial murders are leveling them up to take on the Aesir.

Lucky us, the Aesir have assigned a gorgeous Valkyrie named Bryn to help us out. Not sure if I can trust her. Jada certainly doesn't. Especially since I've kissed Bryn before I knew who she was, and she appears whenever I'm in danger. Not complicated at all.

So, from wrangling giant multi-dimensional vermin frying pan into the stop the world from ending fire, I must jump. Maybe if I get burned to a crisp, Igni will shut up in my head.

Wings and Fangs is the first book in the Supernatural Legacies planned trilogy where we are introduced to Roxanne Crowfoot, a wolf shifter, nephilim as the main character. Wings and Fangs is grittier, wittier, and more action packed than the Midlife Supernaturals and Oracle Chronicle books where Roxy is a side character.
