After completing my pharmacy degree in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and after years of being engaged in targeted specializations in preventable and lifestyle-related chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and obesity, my persistence paid off and led me to the answer. The answer lies in making favorable lifestyle choices. Had I not lost that weight initially and later maintained that loss by making favorable and balanced lifestyle choices, as I describe in this guide, I would have become much more obese, would have very likely ended up with diabetes.
