Robert Davenport is the author of The Encyclopedia of War Films and numerous other books. A retired lieutenant colonel in the Air Force, he served in Afghanistan and Kosovo. He has also been a screenwriter and executive producer of Hollywood films and served as technical military advisor on the film Pearl Harbor. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
