She was a family daycare provider for eleven years, worked at a nursing home for thirteen years, and has worked as a paraprofessional in the middle school and currently at an elementary school. Julie and her husband, Karl, enjoy being active in their church. Julie came from a family of four sisters. Karl and Julie have four grown sons.
