Autorenporträt
Edward Victor Dick is a professional luthier who built 460 custom string instruments and repaired over 40,000 between 1975 and 2022. He is also the creator of the Colorado School of Lutherie. This is the story of his career and his personal journey, the obstacles, detours, and pitfalls along the way, his solutions and success. It is accompanied by numerous photos of his work and his process. Introspective and philosophical at times, anecdotal and humorous at others, with several stories of musicians and their instruments.
