From a young age, Zazi is forced to navigate a world that offers little comfort. Abandoned by her parents and left in the care of emotionally distant grandparents, she grows up questioning her worth and searching for the love she has never known. Despite the material security her grandparents provide, the absence of warmth and affection leaves an unfillable void in her heart.

When her long-lost mother suddenly reappears, Zazi dares to hope for the family she has always dreamed of. But instead of the joyful reunion she imagined, she is thrown into a nightmare of betrayal, abuse, and shattered illusions. Her mother's choices drag her into an environment where violence and suffering become part of her daily existence. Enduring physical, emotional, and psychological wounds, Zazi's innocence is stolen, and she is left to fend for herself in a world that seems determined to break her.

Yet, even in the darkest moments, Zazi refuses to surrender to despair. With an unyielding spirit, she embarks on a painful but necessary journey to reclaim her identity and redefine what love and family indeed mean. She struggles with anger, shame, and self-loathing, yet she also discovers unexpected strength, fleeting moments of kindness, and the possibility of hope.

Told with raw honesty and deep emotional insight, ZAZI is more than a story of survivalit is a testament to the human will to heal, rise, and carve out a future beyond the pain of the past. This gripping and heartbreaking novel explores our scars and the resilience it takes to transform them into stepping stones toward self-acceptance and liberation.
