John Harle is an Ivor Novello Award-winning saxophonist, composer and record producer. His playing has established a worldwide enthusiasm for the saxophone as a concert-hall instrument, and has been the catalyst for an outpouring of new concertos for the saxophone. Credited with having created an original school of saxophone playing, Harle has produced many of the leading players of today and is a frequent lecturer in masterclasses at major conservatoires and schools in the UK and overseas.
