Autorenporträt
Bettina Schödel was born in Stuttgart, Germany. She has lived and worked in Germany and France and lives now since 2003 in Spain. After her studies and a training at Le Figaro (section literature) in Paris, she worked as a French and German teacher at Télélangue and the Institut franco-américain de management and developed several language methods. She sometimes wrote articles for the newspaper and translated German operas into French for the Opéra de Paris. She currently works as a teacher and develops new methods. Her way to approach a language? On one hand she treats it as something very structured which can be compared with other languages and on the other hand as something which is unique, changing and reflecting the culture and the way of life of a country.
